4. Liability and Indemnification

Vehicle Damage

PitStop Mobile is not liable for any damage to the vehicle that is not directly caused by our service actions.

Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of the completed service.

Pre-existing issues — including leaks, worn components, stripped threads, damaged drain plugs, faulty gaskets, etc. — are not the responsibility of PitStop Mobile. Our responsibility is limited to the work performed with reasonable skill and care.

Service Liability

PitStop Mobile is not responsible for:

  • Factory defects
  • Manufacturer recalls
  • Parts failures unrelated to our work
  • Issues caused by prior service providers
  • Hidden or concealed damage
  • Improper modifications performed by others
  • Failures or damage resulting from customer-supplied parts or materials

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PitStop Mobile and its owners, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from:

  • Misuse of our services
  • Providing false or incomplete information
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Damage occurring after the vehicle leaves our custody
  • Issues unrelated to the services performed

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

We accept debit/credit cards, cash, or digital payment methods.

Failure to pay may result in service refusal, additional fees, or collection actions.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule:

  • Please notify us at least 12 hours before your appointment.
  • Last-minute cancellations may incur a fee.
  • If we arrive at the service location and cannot access the vehicle, a trip fee may be charged.

Appointments may be rescheduled in cases of unsafe weather conditions or unsafe working environments.
